A New Birth

Our good friends Kevin and Tricia Brust just had their 4th child (finally a girl) on Sunday, April 22nd and we would like to share pictures with you. Victoria is a beautiful baby with 3 very proud older brothers! We would like you to keep thier family in your prayers. Victoria has a severe infection and they are still trying to figure out what it is. She is currently in isolation and will be for another two weeks before being transfered to Riley Children's hospital for them to test her skin. Her skin is getting infected then once touched peels off. She also has a staph and strep bacterial infection. They checked to make sure the infections in not in her blood stream and that came out good! They did a spinal tap to make sure it hadn't gotten to her brain and that is good! They are rulling out the worst first to get down to the problem. Please keep them in your prayers as they try to raise their other 3 boys and be near Victoria at the same time. Tricia is able to stay at the hospital in a parent rooom so she can make sure she can feed Victoria. Oh yes, we didn't take Elizabeth to the hospital because of the possibilities of her giving or taking colds or infections so she is doing fine. Thank you for your prayers.

Saying Da-Da!!!!!!

Elizabeth was playing with daddy this past week and he was saying da-da over and over and then all of a sudden she repeated it. Of course we know she doesn't know what she is saying but we are so excited that she is starting making actual letter sounds. She has been trying so hard for a while. She says it over and over.....so I was able to get it on video. Enjoy :)

Good Morning and Happy Easter!

Elizabeth and Daddy this past week! Helo Everyone! Today is the day before Easter! I'm an excited to dress Elizabeth up in her Easter outfit. We took 5 month pictures last week in her new outfit! She is soooo cute! We don't get them back until next week though :( We are going to Lafayette for Easter and will get pictures of Elizabeth and put them on the website on Sunday night or Monday morning. She waves her arms when she wants more :) She had also found her thumb not too long ago and as of last night started sucking her thumb.
