Our Trip to Myrtle Beach

We are having our first vacation as a family :) Here are a couple of pictures of our trip to Myrtle Beach. We are having a great time and enjoying our time away from.......life!!! As you can see we exhaused Elizabeth! The picture of her in her car seat is with her neck pillow on. She liked it at first but now really doesn't. Enjoy the pictures we have so far! I couldn't wait to put them up!

At the Beach

We spent a little time at the beach on Sunday. Not enough time for swimwear but we wanted to get out there! Chris and I did take some pictures of ourseleves but decided to omit them due to unsightly people in them (us!!) We will have at least two more full days on the beach to come:) Izzie loves the sand but not the water. She loves to walk on the sand and fall and pick up seashells. We are going to the pool this afternoon :)

Ripley's Aquarium

We went to the aquarium! It was a blast! We didn't have to pay for Elizabeth (finally something where she is free!). I think I enjoyed it the most! There was a long tunnel that was glass and full of different kinds of fish! It was awesome! The sharks (many different kinds) were swimming all around. There was one lying on top of the tank and one even swam directly at my face and turned when he met the glass. That was a bit freaky!!! You have got to double click on the shark teeth picture! That is amazing! At the end you see me bending down to touch a sting ray. I was the only adult doing that with all the kids....I couldn't resist!

Bump on Head

Elizabeth had words with another kid her age over a toy and got pushed over :( This is her first major bump and I thought I'd share it :) The pictures aren't the best but it's a little egg on her little head!! (It doesn't bother her at all...she wouldn't let them put ice or a cool washcloth on it.....she's tough!!)
